(CLSSPH) was established in 1980 and has developed
into an important publishing base for vocational
education and occupational training materials
, an authoritative publishing house for labour
and social security and occupational safety
in China by sticking to right publishing direction,
focusing on serving labour and social security
and vocational education and occupational
training, and developing products with distinctive
features via integrating books, periodicals
and audio-visual electronics.
Since its establishment, CLSSPH has published
5,500 kinds of teaching materials for vocational
education and training, 1,800 kinds of books
on labour and social security, occupational
safety and other specialties, 700 kinds of
audio-visual electronic publications. The
annual turnover exceeded hundred million Yuan
since 1995 and topped 400 million Yuan in
2008.
As a publishing organization with high reputation,
CLSSPH's products cover books, periodicals
and audio-video products, which earn various
honors, for example, our 50 kinds of publications
were awarded “Excellent Book Prize” and“Outstanding
Science and Technology Works” and 20 kinds
of audio-video works were conferred “Outstanding
Audio-video Products” by government. At the
same time, CLSSPH itself has obtained several
honors, including “National Good Publishing
House” by National Press and Publication Administration,
“National Outstanding Organization in Science
Popularization”, “National Outstanding Organization
on National Unity”, “Model Organization under
the Central Governmentand” and “The national
100 top publishers”
To cope with competition from the international
book market, CLSSPH has drawn its development
blueprint and is realizing its strategy through
internal restructuring, innovation, products
optimization and quality and efficiency improvement.
