BRIEF INTRODUCTION TO CLSSPH
|
As a subsidiary of the Ministry of Labour and Social Security
of China, China Labour and Social Security Publishing House (CLSSPH)
was established in 1980 and has developed into an important and
authoritative publishing house in vocational education, occupational
training, labour and social security and occupational safety in
China, by focusing on target customers, serving vocational education
and occupational training, as well as labour and social security,
and by developing products that meet readers'needs.
In twenty years, CLSSPH has published 3,000 kinds of teaching
materials for vocational education and occupational training,
1,000 kinds of books on labour and social security, occupational
safety and other kinds of high quality publications, which contribute
positively to national economic development, labour and social
security system,and vocational education and training.
Today, CLSSPH's total sales amount to 170 million yuan and we
introduce 400 kinds of new publications to the market annually.
During the past eight years, the annual turnover is above 100
million yuan in succession. As a publishing organization with
high reputation, CLSSPH's products cover books, periodicals and
audio-video products, which earn various honors, for example,
our 50 kinds of publications were awarded 'Excellent Book Prize'
and 'Outstanding Science and Technology Works' and 20 kinds of
audio-video works were conferred 'Outstanding Audio-video Products'
by government. At the same time, CLSSPH itself has obtained several
honors, including 'National Good Publishing House' by National
Press and Publication Administration, 'National Outstanding Organization
in Science Popularization', 'National Outstanding Organization
on National Unity', and 'Model Organization under the Central
Government'.
To cope with competition from the international market, CLSSPH
is drawing its development blueprint and realizing its strategy,
through internal restructuring, innovation, products optimization
and also quality and efficiency improvement. Producing high quality
publications, creating our brand, seeking a first-rate position
and enhancing our corporate culture will be the priorities of
CLSSPH, who will contribute more to China's publishing industry
in the 21st century.
